保守黨競選嗰時喪推嘅T2工作簽證Point Based System，被移民政策委員會（Migration Advisory Committee）報告批評，委員會主席Alan Manning仲話呢啲係政客嘅"Soundbite"，唔知有乜用。
//“I don’t mean to be critical. Politicians during election periods have to have soundbites to summarise immigration policy but there has to come a point when you say how to translate them into immigration rules,” Professor Manning said.//
Alan Manning同傳媒講完呢番說話之後，Boris Johnson就提議佢唔好連任主席（即係炒咗），然然英國政府發言人話，
“The government will introduce a firmer and fairer points-based immigration system from 2021 that welcomes talent from around the world while reducing low-skilled migrants and bringing overall numbers down. We will carefully consider the report before setting out further details on the new system.”
（政府會响2021年開始推行更明確同公平嘅Points-based移民制度，歡迎國際人材嘅同時，亦會減少低技術嘅外來移民。總之會考慮委員會嗰份報告，就會公布詳細內容。）
